I come from a Breton family of art enthusiasts and have always been passionately interested in painting, which is why I decided to open a gallery in St. Malo in 1992. The permanent exhibition includes works by contemporary figurative painters:

	Serge Marko,official painter for the French Navy
	Tomas Horrach Bibiconi

My interests include nineteenth and twentieth-century painting, and a selection of works by minor masters, particularly landscape and seascape artists, is always on show.

I also keep up with the work of the Breton Schools, and foreign painters who work in the region.

For fifteen years, I have been selling oils, pastels and lithographs to local clients, as well as Parisian and foreign buyers. For many loyal customers, the name of the Galérie Jean de Chatillon has become synonymous with high quality painting.
